Officially on our way. It’s hard for us to believe that we are once again headed across the pond for another round of adventures in sightseeing, galivanting and carousing for the fourth (count em, FOUR!) time. What is even more unbelievable is that we have been up since 7 AM, already had one flight, and are STILL in the U.S….ah, the price we pay – literally – for cheaper prices.
How to start off this round of literary narrative of exploration. Goal setting? Hopes? Lists of sites we hope to see? An amalgamation of all three? (I have an ongoing boggle battle with Adam in my everyday writing and speaking…I think amalgamate will score some points)…YES we have some goals – to enjoy, to split our meals (no thank you 10 Italian lbs), to relax, to take our time. YES we have hopes – to travel safely and with an open mind, to have Duke lose and Carolina win (Adam’s contribution). And, of course, we have a few sites that we are anxious to experience – Van Gogh Museum, Anne Frank house, the canals of Brugge and Amsterdam, Pont Neuf in Paris with a mandatory bottle of wine and deck of cards…so many more…
With that said – off we go! Only 2.5 hours til our international flight and by 9:30 AM Sunday we will be jostling with the business men and women of Munich. Joy in a nutshell!
Prost!
Overview of our trip (for those who aren’t interested in the literary ramblings):

- Prague (3/16 – 3/19)
