Radio Silence

…and other phrases that would more accurately describe our blog as of late.

Since this blog pertains to traveling, journeys, adventures and good old snark, I thought I’d provide a little update to our lives in that sector.

It rhymes with Denser and Peer Soothing.

I’m sure everyone reading this is up to their ears in Turkey, Family and Alcohol (you know, to help wash down the two), so I’ll cut to the chase:

Denver. We’re Moving.

(Colorado, by the way, for those North Carolinians out there who would like to point out that Denver NC is a mere 60 minutes from Charlotte).

So for those keeping track this is the 3rd “Do something scary everyday” moments of this year. Unless you also count touching a raw Turkey…because then I’m up to 4. And NO I did NOT force my husband to remove the innards for me as I screamed in terror and looked the other way trying not to barf. Totally didn’t happen.

Here’s to going West and the many adventures I’m told will come with it! Rock Climbing! Altitude Sickness! Skiing! Driving for three days in a car full of possessions and a dog!

I’m sure many funny stories will be in store for the old blog in the near future…radio silence…enjoy it while it lasts!

  1. Since we will be enjoying your lovingly prepared Turkey, I am especially glad to know there was no barf involved! We hate to see ya’ll leave but we ‘get it’……….and are happy for the next big adventure that awaits you both! After all, who wouldn’t look forward to altitude sickness? You know, this move would be easier if I felt confident you all could step out a little bit and learn to make friends easily! This seems so hard for you two………. Chapel Hill, Atlanta, Charlote, Melbourne, Charlotte v 2.0, and now Denver………….wow! I am looking forward to finally learning how to ski!
